Remarks :
- A surcharge of HK$20,000 will be levied on the pregnant mother who does not receive any antenatal check-up prior to admission for delivery.
- A surcharge of HK$10,000 will be levied on the pregnant mother who has received antenatal check-ups for less than 3 times (at least one week interval between each check-up, excluding unplanned visits in Emergency Medicine Centre and checking or investigation done on admission day) prior to the admission for delivery as extra risks may be imposed on mothers and the hospital in such situation.
(Since labour may occur anytime after 36 weeks of pregnancy, Union Hospital strongly advises pregnant mothers to attend at least 3 antenatal visits before 36 weeks).
- All antenatal check-ups and investigations must be provided by Hong Kong registered obstetricians and pathology facilities.
- Doctor's fee and Anaesthetist's fee are excluded from the additional charges listed above.
